Privacy policy
The short version: Snug collects nothing. There is no account, no analytics, no advertising and no server of ours for your data to reach. Your rooms live on your device and never leave it unless you share an export yourself. The App Store privacy label is “Data Not Collected”.
01Who we are
Snug is made by Argon Labs LLC (“we”, “us”). This policy covers the Snug mobile app and this website, snugplanner.app. Questions? Email contact@snugplanner.app.
02What the app collects: nothing
Snug does not require an account and contains no analytics, advertising, crash reporting or tracking SDKs of any kind. The app makes no network requests of its own. Every feature works with no internet connection. Your rooms, furniture, custom pieces, settings and exports are never transmitted anywhere.
The one piece of software in Snug that talks to the internet is Apple's StoreKit (and, on Android in future, Google Play Billing), which handles the Snug Unlimited purchase and the restore-purchases button. That traffic goes to Apple or Google under their own privacy policies, and we never see it.
03Where your data lives
Everything you create in Snug is stored in a local database inside the app's private storage on your device. Thumbnails and exported images or PDFs are written to the same private storage. They leave the device only when you hand an export to the share sheet, at which point it goes wherever you send it (Messages, Mail, Files, a printer) under that app's rules.
This data is included in your device backups (iCloud or encrypted local backups) under the standard iOS backup rules you control. Deleting the app permanently deletes it from your device.
04Permissions
Snug asks for no permissions. It does not use the camera, the photo library, location, contacts, the microphone or notifications. Saving an export to Photos, if you choose that in the share sheet, is handled by iOS and asks for its own permission at that moment.
05Purchases
Snug Unlimited is sold through the Apple App Store as a one-time in-app purchase. Payment is handled entirely by Apple under Apple's privacy policy. We never see your name, payment details or billing address. Snug keeps a local record that the unlock has been purchased so it does not need to ask the store every time you open the app.
06This website
snugplanner.app is a static site. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics scripts and embeds no third-party widgets. Our hosting provider may keep standard, short-lived server logs (such as IP address and requested page) to operate and secure the service, as described in the provider's own privacy documentation.
07Email support
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in the message. We use it only to reply and keep it only as long as needed to help you. We never add you to mailing lists or share your address with anyone.
08Children
Snug is suitable for all ages. The app has no account system, makes no network requests and collects no personal information from anyone, including children.
09Your rights
Privacy laws such as GDPR and CCPA give you rights over personal data a company holds about you. We hold none. Everything you create in Snug is already fully in your hands, on your device, so there is nothing for us to access, correct, export or delete. Support emails you have sent us will be deleted on request.
10Changes to this policy
If we ever change how Snug works in a way that affects privacy (for example, adding optional crash reporting or an optional sync feature), we will update this policy first and note the change prominently here and in the app's release notes. The “last updated” date at the top always reflects the current version.
