Support & contact

Stuck, found a bug, or have an idea? Email is the fastest way to reach us. A human reads every message, and every support email is treated as a roadmap item.

01What to include

For bug reports, a quick description of what you did, what you expected, and what happened instead works wonders. Your iPhone model and iOS version help too. If the problem is with a particular room, an exported image of it is worth a thousand words.

02Common questions

I bought Snug Unlimited on another phone. How do I get it back?
The unlock is tied to your App Store account, not the device. Open Settings in Snug and tap Restore purchases; it comes back at no charge. If it does not, make sure the phone is signed in to the same Apple Account you bought with.
How do I move my rooms to a new phone?
Snug stores everything in the app's local storage, so rooms come across with a standard iPhone-to-iPhone migration or an iCloud or encrypted backup restore. There is no export-and-import step and no account to sign in to.
A piece is tinted red. What does that mean?
It overlaps another piece or sits partly outside the room. Rugs and mats are underlays and never count as overlaps. Drag it clear, or shrink it in the inspector, and the tint goes.
Why does a dimension line turn amber?
The gap it measures is under 60 cm (24 in), which is the width at which you start shuffling sideways past something. It is a warning, not an error; a gap behind a wardrobe can be as narrow as you like.
Can I change a piece's size after placing it?
Yes. Select it and edit the width and depth in the inspector, in the room's unit system. The library sizes are honest defaults; the piece you are buying is the size that matters.
How do I switch a room between metric and feet-and-inches?
Open the room's settings from the editor (the Room button) and change its unit system. Every dimension, the grid and the snapping follow. New rooms use the default unit from Settings.
Where is my data, and how do I delete it?
Everything lives in a local database on your phone and never leaves it. Deleting the app deletes every room. There is nothing stored anywhere else and nothing for us to delete on our side.
I want a refund.
Purchases are handled by Apple, so refunds are too: go to reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in, and choose the Snug purchase. Apple decides refund requests; we cannot see or influence them, but we would still like to hear what went wrong.

03Feature requests

Snug stays deliberately simple, but we love hearing what would make it better. The public roadmap lists what has shipped and what is next. If your idea fits the “does it fit, pay once” spirit, there is a good chance it makes the list.
