Snug

Public roadmap

What's shipped, what's next

Snug is small on purpose. This page is the honest list: what is in the app today, what is coming, and what we have decided not to build. Every support email is treated as a roadmap item, so if something is missing, tell us.

Up next

  • L-shaped and notched rooms

    Next

Subtract rectangles from the room to make an L, a bay, a chimney breast or an alcove. Snapping and clearance will treat every new wall as a wall. Part of the unlock.

  • Android

    Planned

Same app, same one-time unlock through Google Play, built from the same codebase. No account, so nothing to sync; each phone keeps its own rooms.

  • More furniture

    Ongoing

The library grows with every request that arrives at support. If a common piece is missing, email the name and its size and it will very likely make the next release.

Shipped in 1.0

  • Rooms

Name, metric or feet-and-inches, width × length, quick presets from small bedroom to studio.

  • Editor

Pinch-zoom canvas. Tap to select, drag to move; snapping to walls, to other pieces and to a 10 cm / 6 in grid with haptic ticks. Two-finger twist to rotate, or 90° buttons.

  • Live clearance

The selected piece shows the gap to each wall and the nearest neighbour. Gaps under 60 cm turn amber. Overlaps and out-of-bounds pieces tint red.

  • Furniture library

90+ real-world pieces with true dimensions, grouped by room and searchable. Every size editable. Custom pieces with a name, width, depth, shape and colour.

  • Doors, doorways and windows

On any wall, dragged along it or onto another wall. Doors show the swing arc with hinge side and direction.

  • Image export

A paper-style PNG with dimensions, a scale bar and title, straight to the share sheet.

  • Undo and redo

Unlimited, document-level. Every move is reversible.

  • Dark mode

Plus haptics and Dynamic Type-friendly layouts.

  • Snug Unlimited

$4.99 once: unlimited rooms, duplicate a room, PDF export with a furniture list, and My furniture for saved custom pieces.

Deliberately not planned

Each of these is either why other planners charge a subscription or a distraction from “does it fit”.

  • 3D and photorealistic rendering

Pretty, and no help with whether the wardrobe fits beside the door.

  • AR measuring

A tape measure is more accurate, cheaper and already in your drawer.

  • Multi-room floor plans and wall thickness

Snug plans one room at a time, the way you furnish one room at a time.

  • Cloud sync and accounts

The reason most planners charge monthly, and the reason Snug can promise your plan never leaves your phone.

  • AI furniture suggestions

You know what you own. Snug tells you whether it fits.
